i believe this is the prototype car, u can actually see the machined delrin in the rear and those aluminum rear shock tower mounts were custom also. pictures of this car still exist on keil's website i think.

Cedric just happened to notice this scan. Thanks a lot for this.Any chance of seeing a higher resolution version of them?It is a real pity as you can barely see the details and this is a super article.

Re: Auto RCM (France) 1997 Masami Yokomo MX-4 World Champ review
Well around 1998 i bought a MX4 lot from ebay, contained 1 complete car, and one parts car, a TON of extra parts, and a TON TON TON of wheels/tires. around 200 sets. I remember paying around $500 for the lot shipping from japan for an extra $100 i think.
So i got the car, and it was this exact mx4 (not masami's but a mx4 prototype as pictured above). So i complained to the japanese seller and he promptly sent me all the parts to complete the car and make it a non prototype (wish i left it alone 11 years later lol). I still have the chassis, and unused prototype underpan/body (slightly different that production run version, little cruder).
Ill take some more pics as i find the parts, but i pulled this bin out of storage today to give ya a idea.. this is just 1 parts box out of about 6 more that are full. i have the other missing peices too. Motor Plate is in the Box too from the prototype
