Thundertech - A year and half in the making
Well I thought I would never seen this show up on my doorstep, as I ordered it on 9/25/07 (no kidding). I was beginning to loose confidence and was starting to get concerned about the money that I had to pay up front. Nonetheless, I do think it is very cool. I am sure that you guys might laugh, but I am undecided as to whether or not I should even open it (the collector in me is getting the best of me at the moment).
I am not here cause I am playing photographer and on my mountain bike.

That is why you should buy 4, one to keep sealed, one to build boxart, one to build aftermarket, and one to chase the dogs with.mrlexan wrote: I am sure that you guys might laugh, but I am undecided as to whether or not I should even open it (the collector in me is getting the best of me at the moment).

You might want to shake it to see if there is anything inside.

The truck is way cool, but the body seems to be a bit off to me. I'd like to see what it would look like with a Slash or SC10 body on it.

Wow, that dude's asking $500 for a built one but it is a cool truck, my balls have atrophied but I still say shake it.

i like the original prototype better than the new production version, but that's just me.
i wonder how durable those tamiya rear axles are? i had a pajero awhile back with one of them, but i never drove it. i'm sure if it's less than stellar, they'll just design their own.

the wheelbase is to short for the body. it looks like a 1/10 body on a 1/12 chassis?call-911 wrote:The truck is way cool, but the body seems to be a bit off to me. I'd like to see what it would look like with a Slash or SC10 body on it.

if i was able to get one of these with the intention of racing it, this would be the first upgrade.

Re: Thundertech - A year and half in the making
if he just thinks of it as an rc10, it'll never get built. even if he had 2 of them.
