Bolink Prototype dirt tracker

Heres the very first dirt tracker got it from steve Rule it was in pretty ruff shape. So i did a tare down trying to perserve all the original plotting lines and pencil marks. The tires were tuff i cleaned with lots of stuff but stiil had that haze finally used pledge with a toothbrush and man the results were sweet. So silly me didn't take before pictures but figured you would enjoy the results. :mrgreen:

I was at a ROAR regional a couple years ago, and the track owner had some very old RC magazines. One issue had the very first ROAR off road nationals in 1984. I remember looking at the pictures, and there was a couple guys in the pits with BoLink cars similar to what you have here. The track looked to only have a couple small jumps, so the cars may not have been handicapped as much as it might seem.

BTW, the track is still there and they have some very cool shots of the nationals in 1984!

That looks awesome. I'm trying to find something old and cool like that to shelf. I keep coming up with excuses to buy new stuff though. :|

Here you go, with one small difference, the nose is a bit shorter and has two flat spots for the body mounts. Other than that it is exactly the same. I have the mold, but for some reason I didn't take a picture of it. BTW, Al recently sold one on ebay, I think it was just before the holiday.
