Custom FRP Parts??? Open to Requests

Post by mrlexan »

This might be biting off more than I can chew, but based on my latest post in the BST Forum I figured I would open it up for Associated (or non) requests for custom FRP parts. Maybe a million dollar RPM rear shock tower (huhn Hoopty????)????

I will take them all seriously and we'll see what happens. Thanks guys!

LOL!

I need an A&L Chassis brace first. I found someone has a bunch of them, but I can't get him to focus on following through with selling me a couple. Anyone have one?

i'd need to take one off a rig but i could send you one no problem. both battery hold-down braces as well.

would also be interested in one of those from the person you were talkin about if you didnt want them all.

Hello Jay,

How about a repro of the composite craft in FG?

IMO, one of the best looking car on the forum...

RPM worlds rear towers?
And front towers too? They are just 10T towers, right? But I have seen them without the hole for the nose tubes. I am a bit confused on that part.
Bought my first RC10 in 1989

the rpm front worlds towers are similar to the 10t but not the same. the buggy towers are a bit wider between where the shocks mount as well as a couple other design differences. the versions without the nose brace tube holes were intended for the rpm ultra molded chassis, which doesnt use nose brace tubes.

I think FRP repro parts are very good for runners. I have make a front shock strut for my world car (dyed black):

And a rear one for my graphite runner project (don't want to order one and pay shipping for that)

Image

I really like to make parts myself.

I bought this frp plate in 1987 in Germany to make a custom chassis for my Ultima...I found the rest of it in a box of "old rubbish" last month.
