Re: my new rc10 champ buggy with 6gear tranny now with brushless
i managed to find some NIP rear suspension arms 3packs for $30 bargain. i think the ones on mine are a bit worn so i will be swapping for new ones. I have been down to my local hardware shop today and found that they sell all the nuts, bolts and screws used on the rc10 they even look the same. this is cool for me as i live in the UK and we are metric so to find UNC and UNF size fixings is great news and it next door almost to the local track
i found that the front wheels have some play i them side to side play. so i took them apart and found some odd looking brass fixed bearings not the same type that you see for sale on the bay or from associated them selves. so for the time being i found some shims and better nuts this has reduced the play but i think i need some new ones asap. can anyone check on here cars for me if the is play in the rear hubs again side to side and in and out that would be great thanks. need to sort some new rims also for indoor carpet racing so looking into machining some new hubs and spindles for front and rears in order to use modern wheels. will keep you posted.
thanks

thanks

Powder dye works fine, just heat it up to make sure it disolves.
some new pics of the brushless beast
All the finishing touches done awaiting the NIP stealth and new titanium pinion gears. going racing tomorrow so fingers crossed all will be well lol.
still cant make my mind up about what colours to do the body in so it will stay clear for now.

i merged a couple of your topics together. there's no need to start a new topic about the same car. just keep updating your existing thread. and if you have questions that relate to this car, ask them in this thread.

Diggin the all black... just put something similar together for my brother but i'm not willing to dye the shock towers. Just wish i could find some black springs for the rear shocks. I was debating between the white or black wheels... i think i'll dye some other wheels i have black and save the white wheels in the pic for my all white car... Here's a pic of the body i painted for his car... maybe it will help.

looking good, I was thinking about blue for mine or maybe some old school colours for the retro look. i took it to the races on sat but they were racing on carpet and my tyres where no hope lol sliding every where. good for drifting the corners lol. trying to find some tyres that will fit but i can find anything that will fit these wheels:( i want to do the cvd conversion but avis is still out of stock of the bearing. will have to wait for now. any ideas
