Weird homemade car
I got this off ebay for £20 just expecting to break it for some parts, but its got a very strange belt transmission?!
And a mega thick homecut chassis. Oh and a front nose plate worthy of the light weight chassis thread!

I think I found your chassis (3 of them actually): http://www.amazon.com/Farberware-3-Piece-Poly-Cutting-Board/dp/B00005JRI9
That's actually quite an interesting assortment of parts. Nice one.

Quality, I think your right. It doesn't look like a bought chassis as its a bit mishapen on the front curves, defo a home made special.civilguy wrote:I think I found your chassis (3 of them actually): http://www.amazon.com/Farberware-3-Piece-Poly-Cutting-Board/dp/B00005JRI9

Re: Weird homemade car
First time i see this beltdrive getting the lightening treatment.
The belt tends to harden a bit into the shape of the pulley which gives a strange fell to it. But once you run it you can't tell.
I found it very nice and quiet for vintage racing.
Just whished it had a slipper
