i'm sure that kit was designed to be used with pan car type wheels, which would be one reason it seems high with buggy tires on it.

yeah. the kit came with a much shorter front shock tower but the shocks are just a tad shorter than the short fronts (.56's?)

i never put it together the way it was intended because it looked like it would actually jack it up, but maybe i just didnt really look at it good enough...

Please pardon my ignorance, but what is the purpose of using dye on a black chassis?
Does this fill in/darken the scratches and imperfections or was the chassis color faded?
Thanks,
-Anthony

the color was a bit faded as well as some unsightly scratching. the dye just helped cover it all up a little.

i've never really been that into this build, its just something to pass the time really. but if i get ambitious, i would like to try and narrow the rear end about 1/2" by movin' the trailing arms in. but as it is, i'll see how easy it will be to mount the yota body and that will probably be the end of this project.

Pardon my ignorance.

Wanna buy some 2.2 Proline truck paddles and one 2.0 buggy paddle? Probably could use the 2.0 on the right rear...
