Weekend on the Occee

Post by mrlexan »

Some cool pics from our weekend (so far) on the Occee. The below are not me, I don't have a kayak (yet)..... for know I just enjoy being behind the camera. Been doing some hikng, swimming, and spectating (watching the kayakers). Just wish the damn sun would come out. We still have two days left in the area, so more fun to come.

That's awesome. I could never figure the kayak's out. I stuck with rafts when I did it.

Me and a bunch of buddies went rafting in TN once. It was pretty sweet. We rafted on the same river where they filmed Deliverence. Luckily our trip went much smoother. The area we did was a level 4 which I don't think is too bad, but I don't remember how many levels there are. One of my buddies puked because he stayed up all night on the drive down taking NO-DOZE(we were all young and stupid). It is a pretty good time, but kinda scary to be honest. I think I'd feel better in a kayak because you're in control. A raft fool of idiots(including myself at 21)makes for a lot of spills in rough water. Good Times! :D
