What did you do to your car this weekend?
I found some free time and got the new Viper body and wing trimmed for the A stamp project.
Just about ready to box up and ship out for paint.. I have something special planned for this one.
Almost time to strip it down, clean it up and re-dye the nylon bits.

trying to convert my rustler vxl into a 200mm car. got a body being painted to match my 1:1 car and the rustler looks to be the best chassis to fit it.

Modded a white NOS TRX-10 Bullet front bulkhead into TRX-1 front arm mounts and swapped out the used motor plate for a NIP motor plate for my TRX-1 "Shelfer".

Re: What did you do to your car this weekend?
I bought an Axial kit. The SCX10 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon. I had some gift cards from Christmas, so I only spent $140.
I also bought a travel bag from HK, $9.27 and few orange receivers. The truck will fit in the travel bag, along with batteries a charger and transmitter.
It will be good to pack along like that, because we are taking a long drive to the Yukon this summer for holidays.
Going to do some camping, some gold panning, some trail runs, some fishing and beer drinking of course.
Should be a fun time, except for the last day of driving home.

I put a new to me esc into my 22 2.0 mm then decided I didn't like the way the wires ran and redid it all. I also solder a switch to the esc on my xray x8b ebuggy and moved the battery around so I had room to mount the escs then I filled the shocks with oil and fun ensued until I destroyed the spur gear.

Did some more work to the Mini Mustang.... modified the rear shock mounts to add some rear wing mounts, now just got to sort a wing and some wing buttons from the store, and cut down the wing wire. Also replaced the worn rear tyres with some nice, soft, new rear rubber.
No photos, will add some once I finish cutting this blasted shell....
