Sorry to have dropped off the face of the earth! :P Got busy at work and then started playing with my 1:1 project. I actually found a like new Futaba AM receiver for $9.99 on e-Bay and my troubles are over now. I still appreciate the offer though.

It lives again! Just need to get my butt in gear and finish her off. Cool to see the old six gear running smooth. Time to order some paint supplies and get back to it.

Thanks, I might disappear for a while but I'll always come back. The big pile of parts that comes falling out of my closet when I open the door also serves as a reminder. :P

Conversions like these are one of the reasons the RC10 was, and is, so great. Way back in the late 80's and early 90's we used to convert regular RC10's into street racers, trucks, you name it.....the results always turned out well.

Fabricated a front body mount form aluminum. It uses the stock mounting hole and gold screw.

Good to hear the new rx solved the problem. AM tx/rx suits my needs as well - provided they work

Thanks, if only I could figure out the paint job for the body. I've yet to be satisfied with any of the ideas I've come up with. Might need to hire someone.
