Awesome pics Brandon! Love that frame by frame of one of my football-like landings. Unfortunately I did that one too many times and busted my whole rear end in the last heat. Oh well, I'll be back next year! 8)

Oh, and thanks for Brandon for doing the work to beef up the front end on that Scorcher.

The event looked like a great time and the prizes were awesome!

Nice to see a Blazing Blazer at the event. Did it take any slow exhibition laps?

No, the owner hasn't hooked the electronics up yet. He had it at last year's event too.

Whoah~! Checkout the cool prizes man! Now that's what stuff should be on offer to folks who attend these vintage meetings. Real sponsors handing out real vintage merchandise. Does it get any better?

So envious of you guys.

It actually handled incredibly well. It rarely got out of control. It steered a little loose, but I think that's to be expected with tires that big. Probably get a quarter scale servo for next year. Unfortunately I was the only Clod out there this year, but I gave the other trucks a run for their money. I don't think they could beat me in the straight, and they certainly didn't fly as well. I've got a feeling there will be another Clod or two next year. Didn't run anyone over, but I did hit Ron's truck pretty hard at the end of the main, he made the mistake of pulling over right after the table top, the first/last jump of the track. Of course I had to end in spectacular fashion and didn't know his truck was there until mine was airborne.

We missed you this year Freddy! Hope you're feeling better.

Did you guys not see the link I posted for images.

Reg you know I love ya but for all the .02 you've put in I'd love to see you put up the other 3898 of them :) I think I do a great job with the race and I'm proud of what it is every year. Turn put was lighter but we were only a handful lighter than last year.

That would be a safe assumption, Scott! In fact, my Clod entry for next year is already on the way.

All I gotta do now is find a way to get it transported to and from. I don't think they would let me carry that on the plane...

The Bigfoot handled the jumps incredibly well! He was able to fire straight through the rythym(less) section where others had to pick their way through. It needed a little more steering in one of the directions. It would cut a tight loop one way and a wide arc the other. Shouldn't be too hard to figure out.
