I should have been clearer: the anodizing wasn't my main worry: it just changes the characteristics of the top layer of material. What worried me more was the removal of the old anodizing.

Anyway, glad it works out well; it really looks top notch and unique

i see what your saying, the surface did not change, no piiting was created, they look the same but purple, the trick is to use brand new shock bodies, ones that are not dirty or used

Very sweet truck, I love the purple! Well worth the 2 hour drive and your hard work! Now you want to run it???? :shock: ( Please protect the rear chassis plate/motor guard with some chassis tape! :wink: ) Good for you!
