How are the shocks work after the re-anodizing? Any rubbing on the internals, or leaking?
they work just fine, i was worried about that too, but the anodize'er assured me the material dimensions would not change, they were right.. the parts are spot on...
I should have been clearer: the anodizing wasn't my main worry: it just changes the characteristics of the top layer of material. What worried me more was the removal of the old anodizing.
Anyway, glad it works out well; it really looks top notch and unique
i see what your saying, the surface did not change, no piiting was created, they look the same but purple, the trick is to use brand new shock bodies, ones that are not dirty or used
Very sweet truck, I love the purple! Well worth the 2 hour drive and your hard work! Now you want to run it???? ( Please protect the rear chassis plate/motor guard with some chassis tape! ) Good for you!
That's the one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah I don't mean the entire rear end, just the bit behind the gearbox. It'll flex but eventually it might break. I wouldn't risk it.. Also kind of defeats the purpose of a motor guard when the motor guard can move enough to hit the motor.
Picked up this rpm 10t recently and is complete minus a broken battery post.

Sweet ride! Are you going to run it, or will it be a shelfer?
Would like to run it one day but for now just a shelfer
Nice build! Jammin Jumper body? I wonder if Traxxas stole the design from Jammin for the Bandit? A fitting name for the car...
I recently acquired a RPM 10T ultra molded chassis kit and need to get a rear motor guard for it. Will the Worlds RC10 rear motor guard work? They look identical in the images I researched. These things are like hens teeth to find.

You can email RPM and get one direct from them for like $10.
They're the same as the ones for the RC10 graphites, just ano'd black.
