Not at my store... There are about 7 paint/body shops on the same street as the store within 2 miles. We use/recommend the one across the street.

Thanks fellows. BTW, If anyone wants me to make/paint a chassis like this for them, NO. I'm not doing it again. I dont know how many hours and hours I have tied up in the prep after the bad Easy Off run. You can ask Romulus-10. He saw it, and his Anno guy said it was "done"

I left it on too long... It went really deep into the chassis. It took just about everything I had, including the first layer of my fingertips to get through it. Using the easy off on my motor plate and nose, I left it on just long enough to soften the anno, then finished it off by hand polishing with airtools and sandpaper. Be carefull with Easy off.

Ah, I can see that happening- If you ever attempt it again, immersion in a liquid oven/grill cleaner
is faster and more consistant. You still have to take it out and brush it off to make sure it's not eating it and making an oxide layer but it works pretty well. That paint looks killer anyway

I still need front tires/wheels. Thanks to Brandon G for the rears, and RC10resto for the body posts, trans top plate, sway bar links and ball-ends. Sometime this weekend I will work with the transmission. (Not sure why I wanted to save that for last......) Thanks for following the build. Tomorrow I will update earlier posts to include photos of the "whitening process"

Romulus, can you believe just 2 days ago (Sunday) that was the SAME chassis with the oxidation burns?

I am so psyched by the reflection in the Blue...

I saw some of those X-metals in the walmart, and thought they'd end up being used on a pan. It looks REALLY good. Kind of like an anodize job, with a little clear coat gloss.
