Did you happen to find my "Member's Only" jacket or Air Jordans locked away in the trunk?

I think depending on the trim level some did have a digital speedo and other versions didn't. Oh and I have some Depeche mode tapes somewhere I'm sure! lol

Salt killing a Toyota? Never  No digi dash, and I am thankful for that as they had a bunch of problems. Depeche Mode? Hmmmmm, maybe a modern version like The Get Up Kids or the Postal Service   17, not I! but 7 year olds rarely get new cars

I was 29 in '84,lol.

Yeah, road salt is a real killer. My wife's '79 Duster has rot on the front sub-frame,which sucks because its a V8, buckets, console car with T-roof. And it can't be plated because of the rust[failed its last inspection].

But if you really want to confuse the Ricers, try driving a 1968 Dodge Dart two door coupe. I've had people follow me half way across Regina[my home town] just to ask me what it was. One guy thought it was an AMC Rambler, lol. I've owned the car for 22 yrs and it never fails to draw attention. Even sitting in my yard. And it really is kinda fugly. A big old shoe box with wheels.

But they are very rare up here in Canada.I've seen three in my life and this is my second 2 door Coupe. If I could track down the third one I'd buy it just for spare parts.

A buddy of ours in the old neighborhood drove one of these (probably in '87 - '88), he rigged up his parents' big-ass home speakers in the hatch-back!!!

It was friggin LOUD!!!

((this was right before the dawn of custom car-audio shops, I believe))

Wow,almost no rust, clean interior and almost spotless under the hood too! Very Nice!!

I wish 27 year old cars looked half as nice up here in the frequently frozen north.

The fact that you even suggested the Get Up Kids amazes me. +1 point for you LOL.
