Real cool project. I like the look of the original frog style chassis too, but yours does look much more 'business'.
The battery pack... maybe look around for a smaller size stick pack or use a single cell Lipo?

Thanks. This thing is addictive, can't stop tinkering with it. I added some Tamiya turnbuckles with 5mm low friction ballcups so now the steering is beefy. Some nice red Tamiya servo mounts, some aluminum spacers and more titanium screws dress it up a bit.
