it was definately a pain to find all of them. especially nip. i got lucky on a couple ebay auctions that had multiple pieces that i needed, and also got some extras. plus, getting some parts from members here on the board, and some old race buddies.
One of two I have, this car was picked up on ebay, thought I would be really into it, since I didn't have one--sat for 3 months while I considered selling it once a week. Then 17Nut sent
me some alum rims for a friends dad (who made them back in...
Scored this the other day. I've had a lot of RC10's but have never hung onto them for that long. I guess I have always been looking for one new in the box and I felt I got this one at a good price. I will probably paint the body as a box art replica...

I was thinking maybe I'll paint up the body and shelf it. Then try to find a new build for display. For some reason I just don't know if I can pull myself to build it. I really envy those that have NIB kits. I'm hoping one day ALL of my collection...

Which Futaba metal gear servo would you recommend in my gold pan RC10 runabout? There's SS3305 high torque ball bearing metal gear, the S3002 mini metal gear servo, S9405 high torque coreless (whatever that means), and others. I know it's probably...

Update on this, my new Futaba S9405 servo arrived yesterday and I got it installed last night. I took the advice on the Kimbrough servo saver and got that as well.
I know this servo is worth about what a whole gold pan runner RC10 is, but wow, it...
My 10-year-old daughter enjoyed playing with the 1:18-scale Conqueror crawler I upgraded before the pandemic hit, but I felt it was time for her to get something faster. After a while watching eBay auctions, I came across a used WLToys 144001...

Thanks Mike! I knew I wanted this body as soon as I discovered it was available to fit the 144001...because you could turn it into a rally car as the chassis is meant for off-road, so the extra wheel-well clearance wouldn't look too awkward....
