Re: All Alloy Tube Chassis (near completion)
not too much unfortunetly cause ive been extremely lazy lately lol. i did manage to get some front steering knuckles polished and mounted, and am awaiting sand tires i wont on ebay and some front knockoffs from mr. lexan. another 3-4 days i **should** have a chassis completed lol. ill post more pics as i come along here promise
Re: All Alloy Tube Chassis (near completion)
Did you custom made the front/rear knuckles and knuckle carriers or you took them from another model?
I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it!!

Re: All Alloy Tube Chassis (near completion)
do you plan on making a tuber chassis too or is the graphite one shown definitive?

Re: All Alloy Tube Chassis (near completion)
the rc10gt ones that are still "somewhat" available are the same part
i got some parts from this store
http://www.neweramodels.com
and alot of randomness from ebay, the arms are still sold by rdent enterprises for sprint cars
nothing is custom machined yet but im working on getting a front and rear bulkhead made in alloy and machined up for me.

Re: All Alloy Tube Chassis (near completion)
i am DEFINETLY making a tuber chassis, that graphite is actually a great condition Houge/Trailing arm chassis. I started a tuber, destroyed a tuber lol, started another, ran outta brake line, then stopped cause i was out of oxy gas, etc etc and the story goes on..
I finally have full tanks of gas, plenty of flux/steel/silv, new saw, i made a mock up chassis with pipe cleaners to see if it would fit properly, everything is looking great, i just neeed to sit down and do it now lol

Re: All Alloy Tube Chassis (near completion)
6pm EST Update: i hate brazing lol
but seriously, if home depot has any oxygen left i will be able to finish by tonight hopefully. my main tank ran out go figure..
Chassis is built, for some reason the front and rear shock towers i built in were WAY off, guess i didnt take into account for the shock bushings, re-making them now.
and i have to slightly move a rear support a bit to make room for a hydra drive gear cover which i bought on ebay recently but dont have yet.
Plus i need to somehow plan for a servo placement which i conveinantly forgot lol. If all goes well i am taking to the powercoater's tommorow

Love the straight, single paddle. Those rock. I had the other set you got on a Kyo nitro atv. They just don't have the coolness that single paddle does. IMO.
