Lol... My last conversion was a TRF801X to electric to an onroad GT car. I redesigned the shock towers, designed a motor mount.. This is much easier

Cool and daring! There is no limit to how much the Scorpion can develop and how much that original concept inspires to new ideas some 30 years on!! So what's up at the front end? Will you apply the double wish bone approach there aswell?

Ive decided to stick with original suspension on front and rear. Creates for less if a headache, especially in the rear. Tomorrow I plan on dropping off my template with a machinist, so that he can fabricate my t-plate.

I'm missing the stand offs that hold the suspension mounts. Otherwise I will have to have my friend make me new ones.

I don't think that shocktower mount is going to take much to break. You're going to have to add some extra mountpoints higher up

It has 4 mount points, need to drill to new holes. I've also ordered the aluminium version of that mount, the plastic one is really soft. In addition, I plan on making 2 stand off to raise the mount about 5 mm.

Well I couldn't find the rear suspension stand offs, so I had my friend make me some. Just ordered bearings for rear suspension arms, I am hoping to use Tamiya CVDs..
