Re: Beater thread.
I would like to join in on the fun. This is a car that I have been building up with spare items over the last couple of months. Not quite complete, but getting close. Can't wait to bash with it in the yard.

Re: Beater thread.
Okay so here is my stable of beaters. All of these are runners that I actually use.
Sand Scorcher. Brushless Castle 3800 and full LED's

Second Sand Scorcher, its really a parts car but I've been working on the box art body for it.

RC10 runner - Castle 5700 brushless, bunch of other stuff

My son's RC10 runner - Castle 5700 brushless, full LED's. He did the stickers himself and designed the paint scheme

T4 runner - Castle 4600 brushless

My fastest car - B44 with Castle 7700 brushless

HPI Pro 3 - Castle 5700 brushless. This was given to me by a friend

HPI Pro 2 - Castle 5700 brushless. This was also given to me by a friend.

Last but not least, my TC3 project. Haven't done anything except buy a shell for it. Same friend gave this to me as the two above.

Re: Beater thread.
This car has its own thread on here somewhere, but I'll post it here as well. Bits and pieces of this and that, constantly changing as some other project car "needs" some part on it. (in fact, I see several things in this photo that are out of date...) Runs a 540 silver can motor and cheapo electronics.

Re: Beater thread.
Been beating this car since it was born.
Do what you should do, love who you should love.....now that's living.
Re: Beater thread.
Does this count as a beater?

Re: Beater thread.
When i was 5 years old, I wouldn't settle for walmart rc cars. I built this out of what ever hand-me down parts i could get. Wish i had the mechanical speed control and the Sanwa radio gear it had.

Re: Beater thread.
You built a car when you were 5 and you still have it? Cool.

Re: Beater thread.
Gotta love parents that hang on to everything you had or atleast the good stuff we had as children. I still have most of my large Tonka trucks stored in our attic and my Lionel set. Wish I still had the RC stuff of my youth! Here is my beater, so to become less of a beater with a new body. Mike

Re: Beater thread.
It will look alot better as soon as my body from Luis gets here and the working Ram products lights get fitted. Then I wont consider it a beater anymore
