Thanks!

On the arms, Dynotech racing, I am selling them now though.

Forgive this newbee, but you're thinking of buying the ASC7678 diff kit, but isn't that for the b4 and bigger so it won't fit the b3?

Yes it's for the b4 but it should fit. If not i guess I'll try the thunder tiger one, unless anyone has a better solution I'm all ears. :)

No the B4 diff gear/rings/outdrives will not work, it won't fit the B3 case. Only the topshaft (to use the new v2 slipper) and idler will fit.

Careful on the TT phoenix stuff, I believe they've changed things so they can transition over to metrics. I haven't tried with the exception of the chassis to confirm just yet, maybe someone else has? I'll be doing more comparisons this week ESPECIALLY on the transmission parts. If you want to pitch in for the greater good that's a bonus 8) If you're wondering about the chassis yeah it worked, but didn't last long before I broke it beyond repair

Well dang, i took my diff apart today and flipped the washers on the diff gear and re greased everything with white lithium grease and put it back together and I don't think I tightened the diff enough there is tons of slip at full throttle so tomorrow I and going to tighten it and see what happens. What is the best rebuild or upgrade I can do for the diff? All 3 gears are good inside the case.

Are you looking for b3 diff rings. Check the vintage section of A-main hobbies. think they still have them for sale.

Well the rings look fine. Nothing looked messed up inside just really dry. I will be taking the dogbone off soon and tightening it to see if it helps any. I just want to "update" the diff if possible and I am going to get the b4 v2 slipper set up soon tho, should be better then the b3's

Quick general tip for you since you cracked the case, but are reusing the gears (paraphrased from RCCA 11/99 pg 155)
Transmission gears wear as a set, when you crack the case keep the gears in the one 1/2 of the case and make sharpie marks where the gears line up with one another. This will insure that you put the gears back in exactly the same way otherwise you will accelerate gear wear.

Excellent must-read 3 page article with great tips 8) If you can't get your hands on the issue, I could email it to you

Thanx for the tip. Definitely did not do it like that lol. It stalls out when I first pull the throttle for a few seconds then goes...I'm thinking its time for a diff rebuild and new nylon idler gear. I am still looming for stronger options but havnt found any so far, any1 know if the Phoenix xb diff would work since they are brushless??

TT gears all fit perfectly (idler, diff. including the outdrives)

I've tried a number of other TT parts for my T3. there are a few differences. So just ask if you have questions!

update:

Idler gear itself fits BUT you do need different bearings and also the shaft is different. This means you also would need the TT trans. case. :(
