Mid motor chain drive Optima is it possible?

That AJT kit looks really interesting. How do you remember this stuff? I would read my magazines over and over but I couldn't tell you squat about mid-motor Optima conversions.

Ahhh yes, I remember reading that build on some other forum...in particular, the medical tape on the front gearbox and the chainguide fabricated from plastic transparency film & tape stands out. It looks perfectly functional, but a bit ghetto for my tastes.

Interesting, thanks for the link. I don't like the monoshock at the front though, can't see it being an improvement over the stock arrangement.
