Bit more fettling on the old girl, as stated before, not much, Alex sold me a lovely car here, better condition than the 94 i got ripped off from Scott, its who to trust these days i think lol. Fitted new delrin diff gears, NIP arms, and new bearings and turnbuckles.
Even drilled one of the 94 cut bumpers, 91 style till i get more Kydex to do a 91 run of them, there way larger you see!

Oh and i think this girl will have brushless, and be raced, funny thing is my 2400 and 3000mah saddles, dont fit the chassis cutout width, solo, i reckon instead of any filing, ill just go with Lipo too, loving this car, cant wait to run her!

Just some budget Ti 3racing ones mate, do the job fine, just noticed one on backwards, ill fix that to save my OCD kicking in lol. Way chuffed with her though mate, huge thanks, lovely car, cant wait to run it, think ill grab a Cobra shell to match the under tray.
Gonna go Lipo, but I'm struggling with tray ideas, soooo, im going to try square rubber feet, bonded to the lipo casing, these will slot into the cell cut outs, as i can't fit any 2400 or 3000 NIMH anyway, and I'm not filing the lower deck.....it'll be better with Lipo in any case!

When I ran that car I used gold trakpower lipo cells and held them in place by undoing the screws for the battery mounts then when the cells were in place tightening them up, worked well.

I have the turnbuckles on a my JRX pro, I ran 14 volts through them in a water and bicarb mix and they went a lovely brown colour :)

Got my Cobra body shell today, just cut it and it fits great, sadly had to put a small couple of holes to clear the front screws, as Ken has the bullets molded in, but there not spaced right, and it fouls something rotten on the builkhead screws, all good with a couple of holes though. Hopefully paint it in the day couple of days!

Just got thus far with the electrics install. Decided to man up, and file the chassis to accept my NIMH cells, wasnt a hard job, but i had to make sure i did it neatly, came out fine.
Mounted the Atom, as my Cyclone is back in my '94, and an Alturn hi speed servo, all seems good, just need to mount a motor, paint the shell, check all flaps and undercarriage, and i can give her a run!
