It isn't a direct fit, but it can be done fairly easily. I haven't done it myself but have seen it done a few times. IIRC it requires minor body post mods.bgballin26 wrote:does the gt2 body fit the blue chassis gt?

Re: GT body
It can. You'll just have the dimples where the holes should have been drilled for the GT2 mounts (far narrower)does the gt2 body fit the blue chassis gt?
You can make most any body work if you get creative with posts and cuts. I've got a T3 body on one of my GTs, a GT2 body on my speedster GT, a Redcat semi body on my Losi Mega Baja, a gold pan Viper body on a B3.............

Re: GT body
I'm still playing with different bodies to fit to it. A lot of us around my area are going to have a few races with them. After that I'm going to restore to the original condition to include correct body. But for now I'm racing one of my other ones just to have fun.

Re: GT body
Sorry for the late response. I have had another surgery so I haven't been on here in a while. I have found a body that I hope will fit it properly. It had to be back ordered so I am waiting for it to come in. As soon I can get the pics to upload I will have them posted on here. Still haven't quite got that part figured out on here yet. Stay tuned folks.

Re: GT body
I see TBG is remaking the 6134 body now. They're on eBay. Hard to judge an unpainted body from pics, but it looks pretty rough to me.

Re: GT body
I saw that. What is that part number he is showing. The number I know for the blue chassis is 6155. I'm going to get one to see if its a good one.

Re: GT body
If you just want a body to beat on, I'd say the cheap & available GT2 interceptor body is the way to go. Finally got around to taking a (crappy) picture of my FT blue tub:

Re: GT body
That actually looks pretty good. Worth putting on for playing around. I have been trying to post pics on here but haven't had the success with the posting process.
Will get this figured out one of these days.

Re: GT body
My FT I raced from 2000 to 2005 and I still have FT GT2 that I raced after retiring this one. I have a brand new chassis plate for this one I haven't put on yet.
