1/12 Body ID
Who can ID this body? I have been looking for one of these for the longest time but I have no idea what i am looking for. I was hoping it would offered by the likes of TBG but I can't make out the dtails on his bodies cause the photographs don't show detail.

Re: 1/12 Body ID
If you're talking about Protoform's P-35 body, that's not it. The P-35's vent on top of the cab is an outtie not an innie.Charlie don't surf wrote:Looks like a P-35 body

Also I think that's a Porsche not a Nissan.
My vote is it's a Parma Porsche Group C.

Re: 1/12 Body ID
The two vents on the top look just like my bolink Porsche 962, but mine is a short version so the rear is different. I will take pics in a bit.

Re: 1/12 Body ID
Bolink Porsche could definitely be it too. If it is you can still get the bodies new from Windtunnel RC:

Re: 1/12 Body ID
Well, the doors/windows are different....and I know it's a short version.....but the vents, the round fuel filler hole instead of oval, etc. hmm.

Re: 1/12 Body ID
Here's the BL 962 body from the old BL catalog in the scans archive....it's the same Wind Tunnel still sells. Not the body Seabass is looking for.
I still think it's the Parma.

Re: 1/12 Body ID
The Parma has NACA ducts on the top side by the driver, and the rear sunken area above the tires looks a bit off too

If it wasn't for the windows I'd say that has to be it. Maybe jake can post better pics, maybe the masking job is at fault.

Re: 1/12 Body ID
Lots of good inputs here, I appreciate the responses.
Doing some quick searching though may force me to the windtunnel version though. Nothing out there on the searches except for a Tamiya body and the windtunnel version, both which are really close.
Sorry the pic came from eBay.
