Just Another Fibre-Lyte MIP 4-10 Build
Re: Just Another Fibre-Lyte MIP 4-10 Build
their website says it's very expensive to make the tooling to make their chassis. A $30 chassis is VERY expensive. If they weren't sending out spacers I would just say cut a piece of aluminum round stock to take up the gap

It depends on a number of things, like the type of resin they are using and the specific mold process or whether or not you are using a vac bag/no negative mold. Process drives time which drives cost.
I am not here cause I am playing photographer and on my mountain bike.

You can't fit an Asssociated chassis in the Fibre-lyte tub.mikedealer wrote:the "mold" is probably a tub chassis, you can probably fit a tub inside the other one.
BTW I have my spacers

Well if you could it would be stupid, think of all the tubes holes, rear bulkhead, front nose plate, fitting of the body...Dr. Robotnik wrote:You can't fit an Asssociated chassis in the Fibre-lyte tub.mikedealer wrote:the "mold" is probably a tub chassis, you can probably fit a tub inside the other one.

Have you tried fitting a body over this chassis yet? It is definitely wider than an Assoc chassis. I don't know if bodies are going to look that nice on it...Asso_man! wrote: fitting of the body...

If any of you are having trouble with the holes lining up and not sure what to do.......
.....fill the holes in with JB Weld, and then re-drill them properly. The "plugs" will not fall out, regardless of abuse.
(old-school trick, I used to do it all the time back in the day

Re: Just Another Fibre-Lyte MIP 4-10 Build
Does anyone sell the MIP conversion still ? It's been a long time since i've sen one. I had one back in the day and wish I still had it. How can I go about purchasing one or purchasing a RC10 converted ? Just ebay ? or anywhere else ?
Thanks
