well, since you mentioned it...could manage to get 6 of the somehow? It would be a great fit for my sand buggy.Charlie don't surf wrote:FYI I am currently having repro standoffs made in white nylon and should have in hand in a few weeks--because I can't ever seem to find them anywhere

I'd be interested in a few of those, too, if you can add some to your order.Charlie don't surf wrote:FYI I am currently having repro standoffs made in white nylon and should have in hand in a few weeks--because I can't ever seem to find them anywhere

Great tip - I don't know why I didn't think to check with those guys.
Did you get the nylon ones?

Re: 2.2 Vintage Racer
I got aluminum ones the round and the hex ones. They look good and they are a bit stiffer than the nylon. The nylon ones are a bit more expensive. LMK if you get the nylon I wander how they work out.aeiou wrote:Great tip - I don't know why I didn't think to check with those guys.Did you get the nylon ones?

Re: 2.2 Vintage Racer
FYI - I received a message from Sheldon's that the CC stand-offs on eBay are indeed 1" in length.

Re: 2.2 Vintage Racer
Just an FYI - I ordered a pack of those stand-offs from Sheldon's and they are the same 1" ones used on the RC10 chassis. All 6 are tapped for 4-40 screws.
