Owned more than 300 over the past 7 years but have it down to around 50 now.

Its the spares that go with them that's outa hand.

Actually its not owning soo many that has been the problem but more so how many I have driven in that time.

I reckon Ive driven more than 75% of all the cars Ive ever owned with most of them being on a race track somewhere. To know these cars is to drive them.

Right, and if you're driving them, that's why you need all those parts to deal with wear, tear, and knuckleheads on the track.

I had an Ultima and original JRX2 back in the day, so the notion of owning and running them is appealing due to the history ... I *know* that I will never really be able to get into the whole vintage RC10 thing unless I build an "old-is-new" runner to get to know the car. Just putting one on the shelf won't really do it for me because I have no history with that car.

Small batch of cars: 2 built and 3 disassembled JRX2s and JRXTs with some spare parts; all runners or to-be runners. 1 TRX-1, built runner. One partially built but complete 6-gear gold pan. 2 '98 RC10GTs, barely used. 2 runner "Team Faux-Losi" Evader STs with Traxxas electronics and Associated ball-diffs for the kids to trash; even these Evaders are over 10 years old, which is amazing to me.

All sleeping in boxes until they can be released into the wild around mid-summer...

Down to around ten after selling off the nitro and off-road trucks. Probably have enough parts to put a handful together but who's counting? Thanks to this site I pretty much collecting old stuff and not so much racing.

The magic number is 30. This is how many cars I'd like to have. I think I have somewhere between 100 - 150 cars right now. I'm actually affraid to count.

I just remembered two more that I have in the crawlspace so that puts me at an even 10. I have a little over that number in projects, and disassembled vehicles.

I'm glad to say there are just twenty built cars in the room with me as I speak. That's down from around thirty which I was in constant danger of tripping over. (no joke) Unfortunately, or fortunately, depending on how you look at it, I also have at least 15 built cars in storage and another ten to 15 in parts or needing complete overhauls. This is still down from my high of about 80 built cars...

I believe at one point i was up to 20? But who's counting right? Hahah! I think now its more of like, " how many more r/c's are we gonna buy??"

An old bolink bumper sticker I saw in the early 90's still remains in my head throughout the years!

"He who Dies with the Most Toys Win's!"

I think I have around 25-30 cars, and I like to have many more… but then I have to get divorced first and then win the lottery (in that order)…
Cheers

10 right now, but another 20 or so wanted.

only own shelfers, not runners, so no spares etc

only 3 here, an edinger, a caddy, and a fiberglass rc10L. the last 2 i've had since the 80's, the 1st i bought recently for parts for the caddy. i don't know whether to flaunt this thread to her as ' see i don't have nearly enough ' or hide it from her for it's crystal ball properties

Um, lemme count:
3 Yokomos, 1 Sanwa, 2 Associated, 15 or so Tamiya (including incomplete projects), 1 Kawada, 2 HPI, 3 Trinity , 6 Kyosho, 1 Ishipla, 2 Aoshima = 36 >_<

The worst is the parts...
