I must be having an off day because I don't understand what you are saying. Or it could be that you are using words longer than 7 letters long. Once I get to seven, my brain shuts downtempleofspeed wrote:As far as finding...it's likely they come back on obsolescence returns.

Sorry dude. I put a question mark at the end of the title. If they discontinue the body, I will be selling repros but according to the guys at Associated, they are setting up shop in China to make the bodies. But then again, they were suppose to be done by now. Maybe another call to Associated is in order. If China can't get it done, I will take them on.tomstacey wrote:I saw action on this thread and thought "yay! Protechs are back" but sadly not.. you guys are always getting my hopes up!!
Even more than a Protech, tomstacey wants a Viper![]()
On a similar note, last time I talked to Cliff, he said they tried selling the old truck molds but no one showed interest. Missed that one.

Well I really hope something will happen. Repro or original I need bodies!
I have a few Sidewinders that I don't dare opening now! I think I might have bought the last ones at Tower! It went back order and then discontinued just after I bought them!
If you need one of those shell to make a mold let me know. As long as I a get replacements...
Ahgh! I guess that happens when we age!

another update
The #6173 Protech II body has been discontinued.
The #6121 Viper body and #6160 Protech bodies we are still waiting for. We sent your request out for availability; I'll post the answer here when it comes.aconsola wrote: http://www.teamassociated.com/racerhub/b4_talk/b4_talk.htm -Anthony

Another slap in the face to the early Graphite car and CE owners out there...aconsola wrote:

Killing the sidewinder really helped the TQ owners as well.
Not to dis AE, but thanks a lot... I realise that sales lagged on those bodies for a long time, but they are finally actually wanted and you're now turning away money. Maybe it would have been smarter to have sent the molds to Protoform (or JConcepts, or PARMA) for clean up etc... and pulled them in the US.

Come on Tadracket!
