battery cups, front bulkheads, rear bulkhead, front shock tower for 0.56", 0.71", 1.02" shocks, rear shock tower.

I'll assemble it all together another day. Tomorrow's agenda will be transmission (no internals), motor plate, & rear arm mounts, and possibly A-arms.

I also wanted to ask if anybody knew what material the shock towers were made of. I thought it was nylon but compared to the other parts, looks nothing like it. Just trying to figure out what material I should put it as b/c i doubt many people can relate with the aluminum towers.

Man, the realism of that photo messes with your head for a second. Well... that and the LSD I just dropped.

Seriously though, very cool. 8)

lol, once all this is completely, it would be neat to see it running around a track. I'm not even sure how im gonna put these online yet. Its just a wait and see for now.

nothing to add today too. wasnt feeling to good. I'll be straightening out a rear bumper on my car tomorrow so probably nothing then too. All my rendering is done with autocad and its just what I can figure out. I've definitely nowhere near that level. I'd think if i could, I'd make a gif of it rolling in slow motion.

The dropbox thing is working fine for me and it's free.

That's some impressive work Proffesso.

Here is a screen capture of the bulk head I'm working on. It's based on the Andy's bulk head except that it is to the height of the Chris transmission. Eliminating the need for spacers when installing the transmission brace.

Still have not figured out how to save a solidworks file into dwg. or dxf. without it being in 2d only.

Havent been able to work on the project lately, Here is a Newer render, Rear arm mounts, Front and Rear arms done. I'll probably do other versions of arms later on but for the moment I'm just doing what came with this A stamp I have.

I do plan on making alternate versions of parts that are as simple as possible to make later on but for now im trying to duplicate original parts as they are. for reference, the car is floating in the air some, but the render made the main shadow not appear so its gonna mess with you.

So I figured I'd go ahead and ask. When it comes to the parts that have multiple versions such as the caster block w/ multiple degree points or even the rear arm mounts. Can anyone tell me what exactly is changing, and how exactly do I measure the part to tell what I have?

I get that the caster blocks have 0 to 30 degree variations and the rear arm mounts have 0 to 3 degree variations. Id just like to be able to figure them out that way versions of them can be made too.

front caster blocks are all molded the same. the only change is the angle that the lower pin is drilled relative to the kingpin.

for the rear arm mounts, the hinge pin is drilled at an angle relative to the centerline of the chassis. for toe, it's drilled so that it angles inwards towards the centerline in the front, 0-3 degrees depending on the mount. then it's got 3 degrees anti-squat, which means the pin is angled down 3 degrees towards the rear of the chassis. so it's a compound angle if you have an arm mount with toe and anti-squat.

Well i was right about the caster block in my thinking. I'm going to have to get a few variants of them to see the start and stop points on the degree.

as to the rear arm mount. Is the 3 degree of "anti squat" constant between version or does it vary the same as the tow? I'm guessing its constant as my model has 3 degrees on the 1.5 toe but just curious.

Just want an opinion, my measure was 2.955 degree and not 3 exact. Is that an acceptable error ?

the caster blocks are easy. with the hinge pin perpendicular to the kingpin, that will be a 30 degree block on the rc10 kickup, then you have versions up to 0 degree in 5 degree increments.

I don't think any rear mounts did NOT have anti-squat, but I could be wrong. 3 degree is normal and standard for all toe-in versions, I would stick with that, and yes, your error in degrees is no big deal. I doubt anyone would hold you to or even be able to measure your error. As the arm mounts get worn out, your toe and anti-squat move around anyway, probably up to half a degree or more.

Does anyone know where the rear hub carriers toe in varied? is it in the hole for the hinge pin or in the carrier itself?

Also, the 6 gear tranny is just absolutely evil to model.

the carrier is molded differently so it's not just the hole placement.
