Pretty much. I've brought many of them back from the brink and made nice drivers out of them, but never worried about correct original parts. Made no difference whether they had square or hex turnbuckles, original pipe, all matching OEM screws, etc. In point of fact, if I'm building a runner, I usually don't want some of those things. My runner black tub has the 7743 tuned pipe on an HPI .18, RPM arms & ball cups, HG alloy rear bulkhead & hub carriers, FT turn buckles, team truck shock towers, RRP metal gears, etc., and it has those things for a reason.Was this your first "restoration"?
