i understand but when i bought a body from him off ebay he shipped it priorty came less than a week.

I sent my bodies to Cali, I know he has painted mine, and they are nice.
I think he has too many things going on, doing rc painting on the side and his day job.
He received my bodies 10/25, last I heard he was shipping Wed.
Haven't heard back if they shipped or not.
I did ask for and pay for Priority, Insured, Tracking.
I don't trust the Post Office anymore, and figure with my luck they would get lost or damaged.
Andy seems like he is genuinely a cool guy, I talked with him several times on the phone.
Hopefully he will send tracking soon, I'm thinking they (as in yours and mine) haven't shipped yet.
I'm sure this will all work out.

I'm sure you're right. I doubt if after 30 years of being an r/c paint legend he's going to take up heisting bodies.

prob right , but paid and shipped em on the 11th of oct its now dec 12. i mean come on i cant even get my money back from paypal anymore. i hope i get em like soon!

well after 4 text messages and one phone call i left a message, he text me back at 2am this moring saying he text me like 2 weeks ago asking for my address i never got it . so i text him my address and emailed to him. SO now they should be here by fri i hope!

I know with me I am so used to buying something and having it in a week or less.
I have tried to keep in mind this is not one of those deals.
I do think I was very lucky to be able to have him paint the bodies for me, they will be used for tribute buggies that he painted back in the 80's.
BTW I did send him links to the Andy's thread in the paint section, was hoping he would join up.
As with anything else communication is key.

same here but 3 months i started to get like wtf! again very lucky to get him to do em, now just hope they are what they are suppose to be esp the jrT body.

yup he sent me a text on monday. i hope to get em by sat. he said he never expected to become so busy with all this new work thats why it took so long, and next time he will be quicker and keep me in the loop more.
