Re: For scr8p!
Good to hear progress being made. If she can manage the pain and not leaking anything she will be better off coming home same day while still on the good stuff.
Good luck and keepin in the prayers.

Sorry to hear this...it's been awhile since I've been on the forum and sat down to read my unread threads. It's good to hear that things are progressing, all the best Jason!

Yeah, she's doing alright...... I guess. Good days and bad days. She's starting to get some feeling back in her right leg/foot. Not much, but it will take time.

Re: For scr8p!
Sorry to jump in so late, best wishes from the King family here. I, myself, have had fusion on my neck. Unbearable pain, a month later surgery, 3 months later back at work...7 years later, no pain still to this day. The 3 months off work were mostly due to not being able to drive (a car, I did drive my wife crazy).
Our prayers are for a full and speedy recovery.

Re: For scr8p!
Unfortunately, we get to revisit this issue......
Looks like my wife has ruptured the same disc again. So she'll be having surgery on the 21st. I'm not spine surgeon, but to me, they should've just cleaned the whole thing out and fused it the first time. Now she has to go through this crap twice...... And it seems way more involved this time.

Re: For scr8p!
Now That sucks. Hope the best this time around. I'd bet they didn't want to fuse it the first time because of her young age yet. Fusing in kinda a last ditch repair...sorry to hear this happening. Good luck and speedy recovery
