Re: RC10B2 RUNNER BUILD
I've been beating the snot out of my FT B2 the last few weeks! First it was this, an original carbon fiber B2 top plate with out the holes for the sway bar! I could have cried!
All fixed with a B3 top plate! B2 top plate is impossible to find!

Re: RC10B2 RUNNER BUILD
I kept loosing e clips from the rear hinge pins, because the arms and suspension mount are so worn down!
This would cause the pin to move forward and the arm twist and then the bone fall out!
So I drilled holes and used tiny screws to secure the shortened hinge pins! Just like the B4!
Works like a charm! Yes I bag on my runners!!!!!!

Re: RC10B2 RUNNER BUILD
That thing is showing a little wear Rod...how bout som thicker shock oil?
or maybe some up travel limiters..enough so you don't bottom out the chassis.
+1 on using the screws for hinge pin retainers. I have a car I;m working on that I think I may run with that idea...

Re: RC10B2 RUNNER BUILD
It's a great idea, home it get to bottom out that chassis a lot more now
Oh yeah, Rod told me "that's just part of it"
maybe you can convince him of some limiters, but I doubt it.

Re: RC10B2 RUNNER BUILD
I'm not going to give up good handling and proper set up, just so my chassis wont scrape! That's rubbish! Low cg's are the best you know!
Anyway, if we didn't have blown out tracks from all the effin 1/8 (no talent required) buggies!
Oh well, I just have to run on what we have and be grateful to even have tracks to run on!

Re: RC10B2 RUNNER BUILD
Ever seen this on a 2wd buggy???? The center of the rim has completely ripped out!
And that was a pretty new Hole Shot tire!!!
I ripped the tire off and mounted it on a old wheel. Saved the day!
