Hakko 888 soldering iron. In the past I've only used cheap irons and the results were not so good. For years now I've been relying on other people soldering my stuff for me. I'm hoping the hakko will turn me into a soldering pro.

Just wanted to say that I ended up getting this for xmas, and I must say I love it. Ive been a soldering fool ever since. This has made soldering everything from motors, to deans plugs a piece of cake!

lol, I think that's how most of us felt when getting one. Life is so much less stressful when it comes to soldering that's for sure.
