ebay they are 1/8 scale wheels/tires from a monogram or revell hot rod model. best part was they were painted blk and molded in red so i gave em a weathered look very easily

Re: RAT RODS POST YOURS ALSO!!!
well i got the rear wheels mounted now. this time i wanted to use a tamiya semi rear axle, just have to find a way to mount it now. iam going to use a 53 ford pickup body on this one. flt blk with some stickers time on the body. thats why i went with the semi axle to tuck the wheels inside the body.

love this stuff. great job everyone hope this is the next big thing in rc.....
very cool, the "weathered look "is something I love and wish I had the talent to do it. lucky me alot of my stuff is already weathered naturally hahahugger19 wrote:ebay they are 1/8 scale wheels/tires from a monogram or revell hot rod model. best part was they were painted blk and molded in red so i gave em a weathered look very easily

This is a major work in progress. I bought a new 1/8 scale T bucket model which has 3 ways to build it so eventually this will get some work done to it.

Awesome reminder for me of of those old 1/8 scale sets! I did the Monogram Deuce Ford when I was little. You could do it leaving the fenders and much of the chrome in the box..shodog wrote:This is a major work in progress.
