Bumper comes without mounting holes so these were added. Mounting holes for body mount brace and radio tray needed some modification to fit.

Radio tray mounted with rubber grommets below and on top of the plate. Steel washers for the front post also. The rubber gromments allow flexing of the chassis for improved traction. For high grip tracks nuts could be adjusted for a stiffer setup.

Re: Associated RC300 1/8 scale project
Factory mounted wheels/tires were cleaned and mounted to the RC300 for the final step. There are no plans for adding engine or electronics as I want keeping the car basic and clean. I call this the 'naked' look what doesn´t hide details of the car, and I use this for most of my cars.
The build stops here but there might be another RC300 project at some point, if there is any interest. Something as an Expert or Custom version. I would like to say thanks again to my friend Alan for help with parts. Hope you guys had fun watching the build.

I've enjoyed your build very much, thanks for sharing. Will you be mounting a clear body?

Thanks! I think there will be no body, at least for the moment. I really like the look of professional made vintage bodies, but I´m not an artist in this area.NomadRacer wrote: ↑Mon Jan 15, 2018 7:50 am I've enjoyed your build very much, thanks for sharing. Will you be mounting a clear body?
A clear body, hmm ... have not made one so far.

Excellent job!
I remember our RC300 kit came with parts for tincan fueltank that arrived in 2 halves needing to be soldered/brazed together.
