I hope you do well in that series, I know I cant attend enough races to complete (budget only allows so much racing), and I have family obligations Sunday

We will get there together again soon...I need to look through your spare parts now :)

as soon as i can get the time to come down i will let you know....and as far as that nice haul of parts....always wondered what a deal with the devil looked like...we need to talk cause daddy needs a few parts.
do you think its a bad twilight zone episode for team associated to be re producing a buggy from yesteryear that is capable of beating their latest and greatest production buggy?

First round of the series complete.
I am now running V2 shocks, brown springs up front, green in back.
Still got some tweaking to do, but its getting faster.

nice hardware :)

I wish WC would get their online scoring fixed, would love to compare lap times to yours (LiveRC only shows the last race, so yours is posted, but my Saturday runs are erased). I think we are right there together.

Maybe I can come play in the next couple weeks, I'm gonna go ahead and "modernize" my Goldie with brushless. I don't need anyone claiming my old beaten 27T motor is illegal :) (I took 5th in Sportsman Mod with it)

Brown/Green, shoot me piston/oil info, my long arm car is struggling for steering, where the Goldie is perfect.

i just gotta ask...is there a few sour grapes in the pits when you wax thm with a 20 year old car.?..well aside from a few upgrades it really still is a gold pan rc10 because when i cleaned the clock on a few new ft b4.1 buggies at a club race a few guys were a bit sore about it.

I can't speak for Jared, but when I was there Saturday, 2 gold pans were running, we qualified 1 & 2 for the A main in Stock. The other guy was using brushless, I was running brushed. I ran my stock brushed motor car in both the Stock class and Mod. I finished 4th overall in Stock (darn 7 minute main, motor fade was pretty bad toward the end), tossed the car on the fan, turn-marshalled then swapped batteries to toss it back out for the Mod main (another 7 minutes). Finished 5th there, bettering my Stock time by 11 seconds and shaving over a full second off my fast lap and over .5 second off my top 10 average laps. Must have been a better battery

I get more looky-loo's than complaints, even though it was questioned several time if I was running a 19T or a 27T motor, only one person came to my pits to verify which motor, and it wasnt the race director :)

Is the long wheelbase working out for you? Still waiting on my shorty lipo to find out for myself.

Agreed!!

I feel better knowing that I drive just as bad with a B4 as I do with a Old Is New Rc-10 . Once I am finished with my rebuild I plan to start hitting the track again and getting some good practice in before the JConcepts race in October.

Its actually quite the oposite at my track. Lots of love for the vintage stuff, and lots of inquiring minds about where I got it and whats inside.
