heres some pics. spotty coverage but i took pics when i could.

theres a bunch of crappy pics in the link. i did manage to sweep the pits and get most rigs i think. i cant remember if there were any heats or races at the time so there may be a couple classes missing.

Good pics Hoopty. I love that shot of my bug in flight, see Erich, I didn't endo every time.

Great that you captured the Tecnica vs Brandon dual, that was a great race. Also cool that you captured one of aconsola's amazing backflips, watching that truck go over the doubles was one of the coolest parts of the weekend, he did some amazing acrobatics with that truck. I'd say his Lunchbox and the Clod Gravedigger were two of the most fun trucks to watch get around the track.

Hoop- your first picture caption should be "Saaaafe!".
I was headed for Brandon and if I continued on the same path we would have gotten to know each other a lot better. I knew someone would have a camera pointed in just that direction.

Cool pics everyone. Watching that Clod get around the track was the highlight of my weekend. It reminded me of the mid-80s when every type of buggy and truck was out on the track.... ah, nostalgia. :D

Looking at Last year's event Coverage, we had 45 entries total:
4 Classics
4 4wd
6 Heavy Metal
14 2wd Trucks
27 2wd Buggies

This year we had 70 total entries:
10 Classics
7 Heavy Metal
6 4wd
19 Trucks
28 2wd Buggies

And growing, I think Brandon and I recruited some more entries with our run for Classics Class next year, at least 3 people said they're picking up a Classics class entry.

:D

I was thinking the exact same thing when it came time for concours. If I didn't get my LXT done in time, I would have slapped a lexan body on it and raced it.

Rad2 ran well.... I didn't.
I qualified about mid-pack in 2wd and then lost it on the first lap of the main. There's always next year.

Freddy, Great videos!!! Thanks for posting them as well as the ones Mark took. I was watching the Truck B Main and started to shake at the 4min mark just like I did on the stand during the race!!!!

Hoopty, great job on the pics. You got some good shots of my truck.

It was nice to finally meet all of you. I cant wait for next year!!!! Ad me to the list of Classic racers for next year. I may even break out the Big Bear for Heavy Metal.
