Re: BRE 510 m01 chassis
Thank you, To my understanding it is a hop up chassis that is molded in green, I got this one off Jason store and on the bag it is stated Spare parts M-chassis A parts
Moss green item#49044 and B parts item#49045...It originally came on the Mini Cooper M01 front wheel drive and Fiat M02 rear wheel drive molded in black from Tamiya...

Re: BRE 510 m01 chassis
No it came in two forms M01 M02 all you have to do is change the steering bell cranks which ever way you want, Ft of the car or the rear of the car, the uprights are interchangeable, and the lower arms are all the same, and upper arms are all the same so it makes it easy to make it rear or front wheel drive...
The M01 came FWD with the steering on the motor side, the M02 came RWD with the steering on the opposite side of the chassis....
Here is a pic of the steering on the ft side of the chassis, you can see the motor on the right side top of pic....
Tech racing made a 4WD belt conversion but it is hard to find and very $$$$.....

Re: BRE 510 m01 chassis
It would be cool to have a FT wheel drive I bet it would handle great pulling through the corners in stead of slidding?
Re: BRE 510 m01 chassis
It handles pretty good I got another one with 11tx3 and it handles sweet, its a hand full but its fun....

Sweet!
That chassis is real close to the Tamiya '67 beetle's set up, but looks like it's had a few mods.
Nice car.

Almost but that good enough for me for this set up, I just have to install the motor which is a M-tuned, I have other ones with more mods I will be posting to share with every one soon...

Re: BRE 510 m01 chassis
The steering looks very similar to what is used in the egress, are the steering parts easy to come by?
Great looking ride BTW
