My Jrx-T Finally Finished (Question)

Post by bearrickster »

I have had this Truck for about 18 years along with my Jrx Pro. About late summer 1996 my daughter who was 9 at the time ran it into a curb in front of our house and broke the chassis in half. it only took a year of collecting parts for the restoration. It could use a new chassis but this one has only seen light use since its been in a box since 1996  . So its good enough. Its the nices JrxT I have ever had. Well I got lucky and won a NIP decal sheet on E-Bay UK :D As far as I can see that was the Last part I needed. So it is DONE, man it was hard to cut that decal sheet it was the hardest part I have ever had to track down!!

Ive been very lucky with parts on this one It has all new suspenion arms bulkheads almost all new in package parts. I was in a little hobby shop in TX. and found some old stock side shields .

That is a beauty! I'm starting to wonder if I should paint mine box art as well. There is the issue of the decals though.

I cant decide what looks better? my original truck had Orange rims, and I went thought a lot of sets trying to get this nice set? now I am not sure I like them with my paint job. the Parts truck I bought to get the chassis to fix up mine, had these yellow wheels? or do you think I should put the aluminum ones back on

what do you think??

Orange for the win Rick. Get her OG and box if that is what you were after.

Beautiful by the way. All I need for mine is a body.

It looks like you did everything to make it look as box art as possible...so I say go with the stock orange.

On the buggy, you can get a better look with the yellow because the light orange wheels look very yellow in the box art pictures. The dark orange almost look too dark.
