Cool news, though.
I am seriously thinking of putting my NIB scorcher on ebay this weekend
in the short term prices will go down for sure on the real vintage stuff, but long-term, original is still original and the price will probably go back up.
I'm torn on the re-release. I have no desire to have a RR, but would like a scorcher as I am a big vw fan. I could get one and convert it with one of the bolink lexan bodies. But then I suppose the more of the RR they sell the more likely they are to do others in the series and I may wind up just getting both anyway.

This is awesome. I don't know what's going on, but I love being able to change the bargain.
When am I going to get my re-re Blackfoot already?
Is this for real???...It can't be...it must be a bad late April fools joke..
If they release the Rough Rider, does it mean we can finally buy a "BRAND NEW" Sand Scorcher in the very near future?...and not have to spend a small fortune???
You mean I won't have to scan scalper's posts on E-Bay only to be "sniped" at the last 3 seconds when I find a semi restorable beater that's under $350+?
I've wanted one for over 25 years!
Count me in.
SOLD!

yup, and body mounts. you can get lexan repro bodies for relatively cheap, and I think someone was doing repro stickers, but never looked into it too much as the chassis was always too expensive for me to bother.
