My Ascot Has Gone Hyper On Me

Post by tizeye »

I had a Hyperdrive system sitting around that was off the first RC10 I bought....in fact it was the only part of that RC10 that was worth keeping....so I thought  why not put it on my Ascot :?: so while I was cleaning it up I put it on..this is the Ascot that I got off ebay a couple of weeks ago for $101

Lol my daughter just looked at the bottom picture and asked if you had to use the key to wind it up...not sure about the body yet..something simple cause it's so original I think...

Nice, but is it a reverse rotation stock motor? Odd to see a rear shock tower on a sprint car like that, too. No need...

it might just be there to hold the esc. i've seen guys do that for that purpose.

I've got a Ascot Shock Tower and I believe it looks the same.... I guess I never paid much attention as to whether or not it had shock holes in it for not.
I am not here cause I am playing photographer and on my mountain bike.

Looking great Pete. That sprint was good score. Nice work cleaning it up.
