Looks like it could be...the bolt on nose plate was an ascot feature. It looks quite a bit like the car I had, but I am not 100% sure.

Suspension arms?...you must have a great workshop to be able to build stuff like that..I made an alloy shock tower for my BBT but that's about my limit

Pete,
Great score on the Ascot. Super cheap.
So are we going to see another sweet sprint build?

I have a bridgeport outfitted with a proto trac and a small hardindge lathe that I grabbed a couple years back just never get the time to use it.

You never know Doug I couldn't resist it...after building one I've learnt a thing or two about wasting money on the wrong parts..railey72 wrote:Pete,

Re: Is this an Ascot
my sprinter of the same cage and chassis design came from advanced engineering.
i dunno whether advanced just re-boxed ascots or if both companies got the chassis and cage bits from the same place.

BadHoopty,
That sprinter Rocks. The Advance wheels and tires look perfect on that car. My interest in these sprints comes from all of the old RCCA mags I read growing up and all of their sprint builds always had advance tires and mags. Looks great!
