I'm surprised, I expected a quick revision of the XXX platform. Some interesting new features for the SCT class too = mid motor. Out of the box with a spektrum radio and threaded shocks. Very nice. I would buy this over a slash sc10.

Not to mention the narrow shassis. That is kind of cool. I bet it handles a lot better in the rough sections.

I like it...I've been a Losi guy for many years, and I dont care that they didnt use the XXX as a basis for this truck. The only part that really is a let down is it is outside ROAR SCT class rules. But I am sure some trimming of the rear bumper can bring it back in line.

I like the mid motor, just is still out on the shocks (they dont look like Losi bottom loader shocks), and the rest looks pretty cool to me. And 12mm hex drive on all 4 wheels...my slash tires should swap over no problems.

Apparently I hadn't sobered up yet. Probably shouldn't be driving.  Just kidding. I was so tired this morning my bad.

What is the deal with the really narrow chassis though? I'm thinking the cg is going to be a little high like the traxxas stampede or the losi high roller.

"Even if you have never hit the track before, fun and exciting racing action can now be yours with the ready-to-run 1/10-Scale Strike Short Course Truck."

That first sentence is all I read, and all I need to know about this truck.

I think it's sad that so many of the new r/c cars brought out by the big guns looks like Radio Shack toys.

It seems asthough everyone is trying to keep up with traxxas in the rtr market.

What is happening to race vehicles. I just got into racing after decades of bashing and now they are kind of going by the wayside. Every one wants a spec this and a spec class that. Why not just race.

It looks well designed, but man it looks cheap. I think they need to step it up a notch with the appearances. Even the wheels & tires look cheap. At least it has 2 cup holders :D

Honestly it looks to be based off of their High rider truck. Neat but none-the-less just another flash in the trophy truck pan...

I just listened to an interview with the designer and the chassis is indeed from the high roller. They designed it to keep the "spirit" of what the Slash created. I think it's a pretty cool truck except for the body. It looks horrid with the decals on it.
