I've always had a problem with the way the hood fit my Big Boys Toys Vindicator...I didn't want to have a body clip in the middle of it and velcro on the sides made the hood bend out from the edges because of the extra width. So I decided that I'd try using a strip of polycarbonate and fitting it between the frame (see pictures) I used existing screws to hold it in place. Anyway thought I'd share...

Her is a rough quick shot. It is the Big Boy with Hot Trick front oval shock tower and rear Hot trick axle support. I have 2 NIP Hot trick Sprint Chassis waiting to be tranplanted. Aluminum Rims wit Original MRC SLICKS ( RARE )
