That MRC-MT10-M was a great truck, it was the best and closest to a high performance truck that I could afford to get while in my teen years. actually got one for the X-mas of 95.
RCCA wrote an article on how to convert the 10m into a full blown racer, and they gave it really good reviews.
It was also marketed as an almost indestructible truck, they would demo it by dropping it from a 10 feet ladder onto the floor to prove it's toughness and durability....
The one you have there, looks to be in awesome condition, replace the diff thrust bearing, spring and nut, with an rc10 diff thrust bearing, nut and spring, the stock one will strip away easily, and you'll have massive diff slippage.
The shocks leak badly after it's been put through it paces a bit.
The arms, chassis, and other parts, are very very tough also...
Man, I should've pulled the trigger on a NIB kit on ebay when they had them...
