Re: new graphite racer build
Pactra candy red (rattle can), about 3 light coats followed behind it with silver. The shading is black airbrushed.SteveK wrote:Did you paint that yourself? What color is that brown/maroon on the back?
Re: new graphite racer build
the stealth trans drill went great.
the rpm will not ( more on this when i make it to the trans) .
did a little on the front still trying to make my mind on the blue screws or gold
well im to the front pins (this is one of those good luck parts)
how about some ideas for workaround. i am thinking saw and capture. what do you all think .
also stock stealth housing will take a b4 slipper and shaft

Re: new graphite racer build
if you use the rpm 2.65 topshaft for the hydra drive, i'm pretty sure the b4 slipper/spur will work on that. i kinda remember someone else doing it.jsrracing wrote:also stock stealth housing will take a b4 slipper and shaft

Re: new graphite racer build
I use the RPM bumpers on my 10T, and to keep it from warping into the countersinks on the chassis, I slip a washer between the chassis and bumper at each screw. Makes me feel a little more secure, like the front end won't move or shift if the bumper flexes.
Re: new graphite racer build
man i looked high and low for a bumper . last night brandon gave it to me .
i found a blue jammin one for my shelf queen
yea i need to counter sink the backones more and fill the front counter sinks.
im going to race it pretty hard core , i was thinking epoxy, washer might knock through have you used washers on a racer. (maybe a pic of this)
on the stealth i have the rpm. i was hopeing that a b4shaft would work but the gear is to large . by just a bit, do to smaller gear to bring the ratio up.
im going to run it on a lot of small tracks . i found this little nugget at brandons
im pretty stoked i just talked to my brother. the story goes , back in the day when i was in the army i sent all my rc stuff to him . His wife threw away the jrxt and the rc10 ,he still has all the parts . I shoud be so lucky i had a lot of parts . and a hydra drive shaft for a stelth what a long shot .

Re: new graphite racer build
here is the first mock up . stuff to note the trans had to be fit as to not bind bulk head. The motor plate needed the 4th hole .
i will have to counter sink when im done .I will just wait and do all at the endjust race it

Re: new graphite racer build
for a 2.25 stealth, ya they're hard to find. a hydra topshaft for the rpm 2.65 stealth, not that hard to find.jsrracing wrote:and a hydra drive shaft for a stelth what a long shot .
Re: new graphite racer build
scr8p do you have the part#
i would really like to use a b4 slipper and the higher drive with the rpm case
