I went back to the parent's house this weekend and found most of my old RC magazines. Couldn't find the magazine ad that I wanted but did find some pretty good ads from the old days. Attached is a Rough Rider & Sand Scorcher ad from March 1983 from flying models magazine.

Great video. If only they would have played that on TV back in the day, they would have sold thousands more.
