highly modified, or piece-mealed rc10T. has alot of stuff that is associated, but from different eras, as well as some aftermarket parts.

The rear tower is from a RC10GT.
The front tower is from a RC10T2

Thanks guys for the info, it does look like this is a Frankin-car! I was looking over all the on-line manuals at Associated and I too came up with a T2/GT combo. Not sure it is worth while to work on this one anymore. I do have 2 speed controllers, a Novak 410 MXc and a Tekin MOSFET, these date to the late 80's or so.

it really depends on what you want to do with it. alot of parts are still available, or can be gotten from good guys on this board. If you are just bashing around, no worries. If you plan on a regular race campaign, you might want to consider going to something a little more current.

No racing for this car, it is out to "pasture" and I MAY do some bashing with it. I guess a small amount of $ to get it running and play with it would be fun. Sort of a who cares what happens to it kind of deal.

It looks to be in decent shape, just strip it down and give it a good cleaning. The only thing I can see that you might want to fix is that front 'brace'; being connected to the front body mount will do nothing for strength or rigidity, and possibly damage that body mount.

There is another plastic "plate" that I removed to get the nicad pack out, it went from the rear tower to the middle. I was thinking it looked a bit homemade and I wonder why they did that. If I get time I may play with it more, but I will need a 6 cell and charger for it so there is some $ I would have to spend on the Frankin-Car.
