rc10 gears

Post by wyattroa »

well i decided to get my rc10 back up and running. this is the original one with the graphite chassis. I have just a few questions. Everything on the buggy is in great condition except for the transmission. I need to replace the two gears which are part number 6613. The two plastic gears that connected to the metal gears on the drive cups. I have looked online, but have not found them.. Not even sure if i will be able to. Does anyone know where i might be able to get this beast running again?

I have seen them on tower in the past when searching for other parts. You can also search tower using "rc10 idler" .

Glad we could help.

Welcome wyattroa.

Just as an FYI - Associated changed the part number from 6613 to 6614 when they started making them in the black nylon.

They also changed the tooth profile which is probably why they changed the part number since it'd have a new mould, runs so much smoother than the white ones.
